About KAC Consulting

KAC specialises in developing strategies and systems for improving the way you do business, whether it be an existing or start-up business.  We do this within the confines of current legislative and compliance requirements. 

KAC has extensive operational experience with trust administration, compliance, human resources and operational system designs. 

KAC clients include privately owned and public unlisted companies engaged in the financial services industry - fund managers, financial planners and property developers and generally small businesses.

Kathleen most recently went to Mozambique, with a micro-lending and training organisation, Awaken Mozambique Inc.  It was there that Kathleen offered training to the owner's of small business in Mozambique and provided general business principles and disciplines training to the Committee in Mozambique.

Prior to 2007 and before establishing KAC Consulting, Kathleen was the General Manager (Operations), Responsible Manager and Compliance Manager for Opus Capital Limited - a Brisbane based boutique property fund manager.

Prior to that, Kathleen developed and managed the establishment of the Custodial and Trustee Services offered to the Managed Investment industry by The Public Trustee of Queensland (Investment Division). Kathleen was responsible for providing these services to clients offering a variety of managed investment schemes including property syndicates, mortgage funds, equity investments, fixed interest funds, debenture funds, promissory note offers and others.

Kathleen’s experience also includes that of Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary for a start-up financial planning organisation, where all regulatory and operational requirements were developed and implemented nationally.

Kathleen

• holds a MBA, Dip Fin Services (Financial Planning), B Ed, Dip T and is RG146 Compliant. 
   
• is a Senior Associate Member of FINSIA (Financial Services Institute of Australasia).
